At the NIT Northern Institute of Technology Management you can study technology management individually. Depending on your personal goals, you can complete your studies at the NIT with a master's degree, a double degree in combination with a master's degree in engineering or natural sciences at the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) or with a certificate, for example with an Innovation Manager qualification.

NIT is truly a hub of innovation and collaboration, where each day presents fresh challenges and growth opportunities. For someone like me, with a strong passion for entrepreneurship this environment is both inspiring and practical. It�s not just about academic learning it's about doing. The projects, discussions, and constant engagement push you to think outside the box. One of the standout aspects of NIT is its tight knit community. Alumni are always eager to share their insights and experiences, creating an invaluable network of support. It�s this sense of belonging and mutual encouragement that truly enhances the learning journey. I feel fortunate to be part of this vibrant community where healthy rivalry and collaboration fuels creativity and personal growth.
Excellent small school with a strong focus on technology and entrepreneurship; small classes; personal experience with lecturers and staff; well-designed curriculum; good lectures and interesting guest lecturers; a lot of traveling if you don't live in Hamburg's south, but manageable for three semesters; excellent value for money compared to UK/US schools, even without receiving one of the many scholarships; financial breakeven in less than two years; well-known in northern Germany, but now more so in central Europe; each class has one or two larger successful startups, with founders frequently giving lectures on campus; the alumni network feels more like a family than a pure "business network"; the new CEO is driving growth; and there are plenty of opportunities and support provided for extracurricular activities, initiatives, etc.

Many of you live and learn under one roof and maintain close ties with the NIT as your new home. NIT staff are happy to be of assistance and will readily answer questions about your studies, the building, and hints on where to go and what to see in Hamburg.
As well as teaching and working spaces, the NIT has residential accommodation. Available to rent are 65 student apartments on three floors of the building.
