The UNS is multidisciplinary: it offers more than 275 courses of study (not counting the health sector) and five main areas of education:
A multi-disciplinarian University with a health faculty, the Université Nice Sophia Antipolis boasts 1,300 researchers distributed throughout 51 laboratories covering all the main research fields, including 21 UMR (Mixed Research Units) and 19 EA (Reception Teams). The UMR are in association with the leading national research establishments, the CNRS, the IRD, the INRA, the INRIA, the INSERM and the CEA. All laboratories welcome French and foreign doctorate students and provide excellent working conditions.
