Campus life

The Universitat Jaume I offers all its state-regulated instruction on its attractive modern campus, which was designed as a single unit in order to encourage close relationships among the members of its community.

The campus, covering 756,666 m2, has four faculties and many research and management buildings sited around a central 13,000 m2-garden, called ‘El Jardí dels Sentits’ (The Garden of the Senses).

It is a green, sustainable campus that promotes the use of renewable energies, with recycling points facilitating the recovery of materials.

It is also an easily accessible campus, with no architectural barriers that would prevent people with disabilities from moving around freely.

Sports facilities

  • 95,000 m2 of sport facilities
  • The basic structure of the activities offered by the Sports Service is built around four main axes: competition, training, keeping fit and improving health, and promotion and dissemination of physical activity and sports.
  • About 50 different activities are currently on offer, including: athletics, basketball, aerobics, rugby, tennis, sailing, scuba diving, karate, swimming, skiing, sports education courses, and so on. A small annual fee is charged for each of the different activities.

Student Reviews

I didn't have any reference about this university before. I was expecting to go anywhere else but here due to proximity of other universities and student cities close to my hometown. But finally I came here and I got really surprised about the quality of life and education that this city and the university brough me. Sometimes paperworks and formalities are annoying,...
