History
The School of Management (Vysoká škola manažmentu, or VSM) was established by law of the National Council of the Slovak Republic on December 1, 1999 as the first private school in Slovakia.
Education
The faculty have rich, practical experience and use pedagogical methods guaranteeing high levels of expertise in their fields of business administration, along with their personal responsibility for students' education, creativity and communication. School of Management successfully cooperates and develops professional relationships with schools in foreign countries, currently in the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Finland, Austria and many others.
Research
Research activities of the School of Management prove its continuous effort to rise in quality. They are closely connected to the school’s education fields and they contribute to increasing quality of the study programs, which reflect the research outcomes. The research focuses on economy, ranging from its theoretical fundamentals to specific business administration issues, including business knowledge management and other supporting disciplines (mathematics, informatics, psychology, etc.).
