National Economics University in Vietnam
I deeply believe that learning is the great process which has absolute power to transform regular people into better versions of themselves. And National Economics University in Vietnam is living sample for this point. Back to the time I was the students there, I tried my best to learn and become Economics-related minded person. This is the second best University in Economics as well in Vietnam. If you are wondering a great University which focuses on training and academic programs, this is the best choice for you. And also this University has so many exchange program that you can consider as well.
Business and economics
Vietnam National Economics University (NEU) is a great choice for students passionate about business, finance, and economics. The university offers a solid academic foundation with experienced professors and well-structured programs. The facilities are improving, with modernized classrooms and a well-equipped library. However, some buildings and resources still feel outdated. One of the universitys strongest points is its networking opportunitiesmany graduates secure good jobs thanks to NEUs industry connections. However, class sizes can be large, making it harder to get individual attention. While the curriculum is practical, some students feel it could be updated to include more international perspectives.
From Linguistics to Letdown
During my academic journey, I embarked on a path I believed would open doors to numerous opportunities and enrich my professional life. However, the reality of my experience studying for a Bachelor's in English at a language school in Vietnam starkly contrasted with my initial expectations, leading to a profound sense of disillusionment and regret. The crux of my discontent lies in the program's narrow focus on technical English skills, such as grammar, sentence structure, and phrase analysis. While these areas are undoubtedly important, the curriculum severely lacked in providing practical skills that are essential in the job market today. Skills such as effective communication, teaching methodologies, and other applicable talents were notably absent, leaving me unprepared for real-world challenges post-graduation. This academic program, entrenched in theory, failed to equip me with the necessary tools to navigate the job market or pursue a career in teaching without further education. The requirement of a master's degree for teaching positions in my field added another layer of frustration, as my interest in the program had waned midway. Feeling trapped by my circumstances and the diminishing demand for my degree in the city, I was left questioning the value of my educational investment. Reflecting on my university experience, it's clear that the timing and my choice of program were misaligned with the job market's needs and my personal career aspirations. The program's rigid structure and lack of adaptability to the evolving demands of the workforce significantly hindered my professional growth. This experience has underscored the importance of a curriculum that balances technical knowledge with practical skills, a gap that my university experience unfortunately did not bridge. In summary, my study experience was a journey of mismatched expectations, underscoring the critical need for educational institutions to evolve and prepare students for the practical challenges of the modern workforce.
