Housing services
We are ready to welcome you to Canadore and to Residence! All residents will receive a monthly calendar of events through email, including all of the exciting Orientation events in September. Virtual events include Instagram Live sessions to meet the Residence Team, Canadore Students’ Council, and Canadore Sport and Wellness, along with events to ensure you are prepared for living in residence and attending Canadore while getting to know others in the building. Make sure you add us on our social media to stay updated on all the fun!
Library services
The shared Nipissing University and Canadore College Harris Learning Library is closing in on an impressive milestone – its 1-millionth visitor. The $25 million, $56,000 square foot facility was designed by Diamond + Schmitt Architects; Evans Wheeler Bertrand Hill Architects provided on-site expertise.
ICT services
Canadore College has the newest residence complement in Ontario featuring three apartment-style complexes that accommodate over 675 students. Each residence offers an 8-month lease with: a fully furnished suite with a full kitchen, unlimited internet, flat screen TV, mail service, fitness centre, access to public transportation and 24-hour laundry facilities.
Campus life
Here in the beautiful city of North Bay, just 180 minutes north of Toronto, you’ll discover three easily accessible campuses - the Aviation Campus, Commerce Court and the Education Centre, which is situated on a stunning 650-acre wooded escarpment overlooking the city. We also have a new and beautiful campus located in Parry Sound, Ontario, right between Barrie and Sudbury.
Sports facilities
Panther Sport and Wellness is pleased to announce that since the opening of the Panther Fitness Centre last year, usage has more than quadrupled with students, employees, alumni and retirees.Panther Sport and Wellness employs students in the Fitness Centre. They are available to help out users with understanding how to use equipment and also keep the area clean.
