The staff of our teaching hospitals are a national landmark in healthcare, and are well-known and appreciated abroad, too. These teaching hospitals are specialist training excellence centres in research and healthcare. The teaching hospitals carry on the tradition of integrative medicine, able to respond to complex cases involving multiple specialisations.
The University sports centre provides multiple options for leisure activities, and the Students' Restaurant on Victor Babeș street is highly appreciated by our students and our teaching sta.
Active in the Faculty's departments, they are training core teams for the students wishing to develop their research abilities. The results of the students' research were validated by the numerous prizes they received in national and international competitions. The 25 students' research groups cover numerous medical, surgical and laboratory subjects. Part of this groups is multidisciplinary, preparing the students' for the challenges of modern pathologies and an interdisciplinary approach of patient issues. MEDICALIS, the Medical Students' and Young Doctors' Congress, hosting numerous international participants is organised on an annual basis
