Lancaster University Leipzig offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes through the School of Computing and Communications (SCC) and Lancaster University Management School (LUMS). You can enrol directly onto a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or choose a Foundation or Pre-Master’s programme if you do not yet meet the entry requirements. Studying Cyber Security at Lancaster University Leipzig has been an academically challenging and rewarding experience. The curriculum provides solid technical training in Digital Forensics and Ethical Hacking, backstopped by the reputation of a top UK university. While tuition is steep and the city-center campus is smaller than a traditional university, the access to Germany's post-study work visa and Leipzig's affordable lifestyle make it a great long-term investment for an international tech career.
Lancaster University Leipzig is one of a few English speaking schools in Leipzig. The environment of the school is very welcoming and it's very diverse. Everyone, including the staff, are absolutely awesome. There are so many opportunities here, you can learn german if you can't really speak and learn different cultures because of the diversity of the school. I made a right choice coming here.
The campus offers a combination of open study spaces, classrooms, IT labs, and communal areas for relaxing and socialising. The welcoming reception desk is staffed by the Student Services team, who will be available to support you throughout your studies.

Located on the first floor, the campus library offers access to Lancaster University’s extensive digital collections, including hundreds of thousands of e-books, thousands of academic journals and more than 400 specialist databases. You can also access learning resources at over 15 other higher education institutions in Leipzig, such as Leipzig University, as part of the Leipzig Science Network.
You will find three IT labs on campus, as well as dedicated staff providing IT support. All computers are equipped with the latest software to support your learning of the core programming languages, such as JavaScript or C++. Each classroom also features modern tools, such as a smartboard, and provides an environment for independent study alongside one-to-one support from lecturers.
Germany has one of the world's most advanced healthcare systems, and health insurance is mandatory for international students. Coverage typically includes GP appointments, hospital treatment, mental health support, and prescription medication, with English-speaking doctors widely available. If you need medical assistance during your studies, the Student Services team can help and guide you.
