Friendly environment
It's a well connect university, very sociable. Everyone seems to know everyone - as it is very small. Feel like the level of teaching could be better though, as I think they could have done modules that are more exciting and interesting to a range of people.
Collegiate social mix
The college system is good. It makes it easy to make friends and get involved in clubs and societies. The social scene is good. The place is lovely. Unfortunately, there is not much mixing between students and locals. There are a lot of the same people that go to Durham, it's not diverse, and the conversations can be boring. But you'll make some good friends if you do things you like.
