Transformative Journey at ESAD
ESAD felt like a second family—supportive and inspiring. This journey shaped my career, teaching me to navigate multicultural environments and approach design from diverse perspectives. It was a truly transformative and meaningful chapter of my growth.
Inspiring and professional environment
My experience at EASD Vic has been very positive. The program offers a strong balance between technical skills and creative freedom, which has allowed me to grow personally and professionally. The faculty are approachable, and the community of students is diverse and inspiring.
Escola Superior de Educação de Coimbra
It's a welcoming space, with very nice staff and provides a good level of education.
Housing services
ESAD does not operate student housing of its own. Foreign students should, therefore, rent a flat and share with other students (more freedom and flexibility) or private rooms that are usually available for students according to their needs.
Medical services
Students from European Union state members are covered by the European Health Insurance Card or the European Card of Health Security to get medical assistance at public health institutions and to benefit from the National Social Security System as any Portuguese citizen.
Campus life
A school canteen serving lunch and dinner, library, print and copy centre, materials shop, screen-print and photo labs, product workshop, international and project and communication offices, and an active students' union – these are just some of the quality services and facilities available to students.
