About
History
Founded in 1994, and having welcomed over 5000 students onto courses in popular music, production and music business courses over the years, the Academy of Music & Sound is celebrating its 25th Anniversary in July 2019. An all new Higher Education course ‘Music & Sound’ has been developed to coincide with the celebrations, applications open now.
Education
We offer one of the most flexible undergraduate music pathways in the UK, inviting applicants from a broad diversity of musical disciplines such as guitar players, bass players, singers, songwriters, drummers, multi-media composers, TV, film and gaming music composers. The choices embedded into the programme mean students leave as independent, multi-skilled music practitioners, ready to work in the modern music industry.
