Argosy University is a system of colleges owned by Dream Center Education Holdings (DCEH), LLC as of November 2017, which had acquired them from Education Management Corporation (EDMC).

Built on a diverse and rich academic foundation, Argosy University was formed in 2001 with the merging of three separate academic institutions—the American Schools of Professional Psychology, the University of Sarasota, and the Medical Institute of Minnesota.


Today, Argosy University supports one of the largest graduate student communities in the nation. We offer 27 campus locations across the United States as well as a number of degree programs online. At our campuses and online, Argosy University offers undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate programs through these 8 colleges:

    We provide complimentary Talk One-2-One counseling services for a range of personal problems including family and marital issues, stress, anxiety, and depression. 

  • The Campus Common

    At Argosy University, all students have access to the Campus Common. This is your online community beyond the classroom, where you can find the latest school news, upcoming events, academic and technical support.

Library services

All Argosy University students can access the Online Library, where you can perform full-text searches in over 350 databases that support every academic program. The Online Library also includes eBook access, and interlibrary book loans can be shipped to you at no additional charge.

Campus libraries also support campus curricula and encourage life-long learning through maintaining a collection of books, scholarly journals, audiovisuals, reference materials, dissertations, theses, and more. They also provide access to electronic full-text journals, books, and other content specific to our programs.

Campus life

Centered in the heart of downtown, Argosy University, Chicago is a nonprofit institution that is within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, public transportation, as well as cultural and entertainment venues. Located on North Michigan Avenue, Argosy University is just a few blocks from Millennium Park and is easily accessible by bus or subway. 

Student clubs

Our committed and impressive faculty members mentor students in and out of the classroom. Student clubs and program concentrations allow students and faculty with shared interests to gather for intellectual, professional, cultural and social growth. 


Argosy University was first accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges in 2011 with its next review in 2018.
