Residence Life is housed within the Office of Campus Living, along with Community Standards. Approximately 60% of Mount Ida College students choose to live on campus. Living in a residence hall at Mount Ida connects you to a vibrant and dynamic residential community, providing meaningful opportunities for you to engage with one another, explore new experiences and to develop outside of the classroom.We are here from the day you move in to help you adjust to your new life on campus and to help you throughout your stay in our on-campus community.

ICT services
Information Technology at UMass Amherst provides comprehensive support and services for technology use on campus. In addition to accessing central IT services, members of the Mount Ida Campus of UMass Amherst have specific on-site services available in the Learning Center/Wadsworth Library.
Campus life
Our residential campus, nestled in Newton, Massachusetts, just minutes from Boston, is the perfect place to live and study during your college career. We offer a number of residential options on campus.Our on campus rooms include free wireless internet, access to cable television, and mostly free laundry rooms (we charge a nominal fee for hot and warm water, keeping our community more sustainable).
Sports facilities
The Mount Ida College Athletic Center is the pulse of the campus for all co-eds, faculty and staff. It serves as the home of the Mount Ida College Athletic Department. In addition to offices for the staff, the facility features a weight room, athletic training room, locker rooms, a classroom and the College's gymnasium.
The main gymnasium is perfect for playing basketball, volleyball, and other receational sports including intramural athletics on our magnificent court that is big enough for several teams to compete on at once. The athletic center is home to our women's volleyball, men's volleyball, men's basketball, and women's basketball teams.
