Loughborough University London is located on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, within a new innovation quarter known as Here East. The campus offers a range of versatile workspaces to cater for independent study, group activities and collaborative project work. Located on the ground floor, the campus cafe offers a selection of Fairtrade teas and coffee, as well as sandwiches, baked goods and snacks. Adjacent to the campus is Canalside: a vibrant social space offering a selection of exciting bars, retailers and restaurants. It’s the perfect spot for a bite to eat whilst watching the narrow boats along the canal. You will also find plenty of places to eat and drink on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Whether you’re looking for coffee, brunch or a three-course meal, you’ll find plenty on offer across the Park.
Located at the heart of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the Loughborough University London is surrounded by some of the world’s finest sporting venues, which are available to students at a discounted rate. The Copper Box Arena is a multi-purpose venue with an 80-station gym, two exercise-class studios and venue, with seating for up to 7,5000 spectators. The London Aquatics Centre has three separate pools for competition, training, and diving. Each is open to swimmers of all abilities, from beginners to Olympic hopefuls! Other venues include Lee Valley Velopark, Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre and the London Stadium.
Loughborough Students’ Union (LSU) is run by students, for students and is here to support you throughout your student journey; representing you, providing advice when you need it and supporting student led activities to form a strong and supportive student community. The Loughborough London Support and Social Network is a group formed each year from Postgraduate Taught students and Doctoral Researchers responsible for creating a friendly, welcoming learning community for any students or researchers registered at the Loughborough London campus. We have a completely fresh group of students every year which means whilst we don’t have ready-made societies and projects for you to join in with, the London SSN provides the exciting opportunity to lead on social and supportive activities that you and your cohort are passionate about.
