Established in Hong Kong in 1963, it is the first business school to offer BBA, MBA and Executive MBA programs in the region. The School has about 4,400 full-time and part-time students and has the largest business school alumni network in Hong Kong, with over 30,000 alumni worldwide.

Located in the Cheng Yu Tung Building, it has these teaching facilities:
- a world-class Finance Trading Laboratory regarded as one of the best in the world. The lab has 53 work stations equipped with Bloomberg and Reuters terminals and real-time data feed from the major stock exchanges of the world including New York, Europe and Hong Kong.
- a Marketing Engineering Lab jointly established by the School and IBM. The lab is equipped with Big Data marketing software and cloud computing (donated by IBM).
- the Hyatt Training Center which features six Hyatt-brand standard training rooms to teach Hyatt's brand standards. There are also state-of-the-art food and wine laboratories and a campus-based cafe restaurant.
