Shahid Beheshti University was a good place to study biological sciences, offering solid academic training and generally well-equipped laboratories. However, lab facilities could be further improved. Professors taught effectively, and improving transportation access would make student life easier.
It is a good university with high-level tutors. It is one of the Iran ranked universities
A good variety of courses were offered like IoT, NLP and microprocessors. However The assignment load was high, and during exam periods, we had to both study for the exam while also completing the projects for each course. This was difficult and challenging. The experienced professors who had been teaching at the university for many years were knowledgeable and helpful. However the newer professors were not educated enough on the topics that they taught. This is due to the shortage of professors in Iran, as many PhD candidates immigrate to other countries. The location of the university is out of reach because it's in the north of Tehran and it is not easily accessible by subway. Also, the traffic in the peak hours is intolerable and can waste hours of your day. Therefore, I would not recommend this university unless you live in the main dormitory located on campus.
