EHESP also offers preparatory courses for a number of competitive examinations for positions as civil servants in ministerial and health facilities, both in class setting and through distance learning, as well as training courses tailored to the needs of each facility

Research

Research is carried out by 4 education and research departments including 12 research chairs, 1 environmental health research laboratory (LERES), 9 research organizations in partnership including 3 joint labs and a research team.

Student services

The French School of Public Health welcomes students, lecturers and researchers from many different countries to its modern, dynamic campuses in Rennes and Paris. Sharply focused on Europe and the wider world, the French School of Public Health mobilises its international network to foster international exchanges and co-operation for both training and research purposes.

The students associations are federated in a student Office (B2E). Its role is to organize cultural, sports or festive events.It brings together representatives from each promotion to ensure the best representation.

Library services

The documentation centre is first and foremost intended for the use of students, trainee students and EHESP lecturers and scientists but it is also open to outside personnel such as professionals in the health and welfare system.

Student Life

Campus life

The EHESP School of Public Health in Rennes is located close to the Rennes I and Rennes II university campuses and the University Hospital complex. The School has a landscaped campus covering 9 hectares, with 7 buildings arranged in teaching zones, offices, laboratories, restaurant and accommodation with catering facilities. It is close to bus services and the metro. The campus welcomes about 400 students per week and parts of the courses are held in Paris.
