Housing services

Dormitory facilities are equipped with study rooms, satellite TVs, libraries, cafeterias, tennis courts, high speed internet, laundry services, parking lots, etc. to ensure high living standards and boost academic and social activities of the students. In addition, special halls are equipped with projectors to encourage visual activities of the students and help students to improve their language skills.

Library services

Services

The study rooms at Qafqaz University Library are available for use by registered undergraduate and graduate students, both for group study purposes and individual projects. Study room provides students with catalogued and classified encyclopedias, dictionaries, academic journals, newspapers, and other reading materials.

Medical services

The Health Department of the university was established in 2001. Currently one doctor and a nurse take care of required duties and responsibilities. Health Department focuses on:

Student Life

Campus life

Until 2003/2004 Qafqaz University was operating in two temporary service buildings. However, a continually increasing number of students, scholars, and researchers (both local and international) necessitated the establishment of a new campus area.

Grant programs urging utilization of new facilities and research laboratories, also contributed to this need for an expanded campus, since the previous facilities were not sufficient to accommodate the needs of a growing university with its expanding programs and initiatives.

Sports facilities

The Sport Administrative Office

  • provides comfortable environments for teams in order to practice regularly
  • provides sports facilities for the benefit of our students
  • also arranges sporting events and tournaments to boost the morale and motivation of the personnel

Student clubs

There are 16 student clubs and 4 social associations that are actively functioning within the university. Approximately 1250 students are vigorously participating in the activities of these clubs and associations. Students organize seminars, panels, and conferences emphasizing contemporary international challenges and support, both spiritually and financially, the poor and needy in their communities.
