History
- Its origin could be dated back to 1952 and its name was changed into JSNU in 2011.
- Located in Xuzhou, a city that has been officially founded since 2,600 years ago and one of the most ancient ones in China with a history of over 5,000 years
Education
- With 22 specialty schools, it has successfully developed a diverse mix of disciplines in the fields of Philosophy, Economics, Law, Education, Literature, History, Science, Engineering, Agriculture, Public Administration and Fine Arts.
Research
- In recent 5 years, JSNU has undertaken 1,066 research projects of all levels, of which there are 349 National Fund Projects. JSNU achieved nearly 65 scientific awards above the provincial level, including Excellent Achievement Prize for scientific research in universities of the Ministry of Education, Excellent Achievement Prize for National Education Science Research of Ministry of Education and so on. More than 6,700 papers were published on sub-journal of Nature, and other academic journals of PNAS, JACS, BRAIN, Chinese Social Sciences, etc. The chart below shows major national level projects in recent 5 years.
