International Language Holidays

From students’ first day with us to their last, the staff makes sure they are free to learn English in a safe, relaxed environment. The summer courses offer an opportunity for children and teenagers (aged 11-17), who have a minimum A1/elementary level of English, to develop confidence in the use of the English language in a variety of situations during lessons and whilst enjoying a range of social, cultural and sporting activities and excursions.It is the belief that taking a study holiday in an environment with students from other countries offers an excellent opportunity to learn new skills, experience different cultures and make friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.The School accepts both group and individual bookings. The students come from over 15 countries and many return summer after summer. The staff also works with a network of international representatives, some of whom have been working with them since we started the junior summer courses over 25 years ago.The School has a high return rate of teaching staff, which enables continuity and a great sense of community at each Centre. This is appreciated by the students and their group leaders. The dedicated and enthusiastic teachers work hard to ensure classes are both educational and fun!The Centres are located in the east of England, near to both London and Cambridge, and run for 4 weeks in the month of July and early August. Students can choose study at one of the homestay Centres and live with a local homestay provider, or they may choose to attend the residential Centre where they live in the College.
