Established in 1948, Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) has a history rooted in innovative, career-driven education with the goal of addressing contemporary societal needs. I love TMU! It is such a city school which I am personally very fond of. It has a lot of great amenities and facilities, and supports its students with a lot of academic support. I have had great professors who challenge me but also are always there to help me out.
TMU as whole is a pretty good university despite what it's reputation suggests. The professors are great and most of them mark fairly. The social life is also great and you can make friends easily since most other people are also commuters. Overall I have enjoyed my experience at TMU so far.

Our International Student Support (ISS) team will support you throughout your entire academic career at TMU. TMU has 1,100+ beds in three residence buildings on campus. There are a range of room styles including two- to four-bedroom apartments, single bedrooms with shared hallway washrooms and some individual rooms with private washrooms.
