Concord College

Founded in 1949, the school has a safe, secure campus for students to live and study. Preparation for University courses include GCSE and ‘A’ level and cater for students from 13-19 years. Examination results are excellent, many of the graduates being offered places at the top 10 Universities.

In the summer months of July and August the school uses the beautiful campus and excellent facilities to run intensive,junior English courses for students aged 9-17 years and Science courses for students aged 13 - 17 years. The courses are very popular and become fully booked quite early.

The campus at Acton Burnell in its beautiful rural setting provides a quiet, traditional location for students to study. Facilities include a high ropes course, new medical centre, two large sports halls with aerobics room, squash courts and climbing wall, outdoor courts and pitches, swimming pool, theatre, internet cafe, disco, self study computer rooms, new library, art rooms and wireless internet in all buildings.

Courses are fully residential and accommodation is mainly single study bedrooms with boys and girls in seperate buildings with resident tutors. Security staff provide a wakeful presence throughout the night with good CCTV coverage for added security. One full day and one half day excursion and 21 hours of tuition per week. Our prices are fully inclusive and cover airport transfers on the first and last days of the course, full board, tuition, sports and activities on campus, laundry, excursions and a course photograph.
