The GCU London team works together with our colleagues in Glasgow to provide you with a range of support services throughout your studies. For example, one to one VISA advice, one to one group or library advice, sessions to support your learning (English courses, help for disability student), social events to meet other students or also finance, accommodation or employment advices.
One of the first things you need to consider when coming to study with us is finding somewhere to live. London has no shortage of options for a range of requirements and budgets.
Student halls accommodation is run by external companies that offer rooms and facilities in the local area. Halls are normally more expensive than other types of accommodation but have the benefit that all bills (including heating, internet and TV licence) are included. They also have lots of facilities that are included as part of your rent payment such as gyms, common rooms and study areas.
The library provides a range of study environments where you can study alone or in groups. The space is available to students during GCU London opening hours.In addition to the books in the London library, students have access to many online resources via the Glasgow library website using your domain username and password.

Students do receive access to free healthcare whilst studying in the UK, which is available 24 hours, a day every day of the year.
Upon arrival in the UK and registering with the University, you must register with a local Doctor called a General Practioner or GP.
