Since 1854 Centrale Lille has been training high-level multi-disciplinary engineers who go on every year to work for French and worldwide firms and industrial groups.
One of the two missions of the Ecole Centrale de Lille is research. Research is omnipresent in an engineering graduate school through its teaching staff which have a combined teaching and research mission. As researchers, our professors’ main goal is to explore the limits of human knowledge. They are therefore constantly up to date with the latest developments in their fields of speciality.
The Ecole Centrale de Lille has its own university residence, built on the scientific campus in the 80’s. This hall of residence has 581 rooms to accommodate.
Centrale Lille is located on the campus of the Cité Scientifique in Villeneuve d'Ascq – a site that welcomes 30,000 students. Two metro stations and the Lille ring road link Lille to the Cité Scientifique in less than 15 minutes.
The campus boasts a library, four university restaurants (including one that is right next to the Léonard de Vinci residence hall) and a wide range of athletic facilities : Football field, Gym facilities, Rugby field, Gymnasiums for dance, badminton, fencing, handball, and so on...
In 2010, the CTI renewed the Ecole Centrale de Lille’s accreditation for a period of 6 years.
