Created in 1963, ISA Lille’s campus is part of Lille Catholic University, the largest private higher education institution in France, with 26,000 full-time students and 2,500 international students.
Our academic programs are based on the acquisition of solid scientific and technical skills as well as personal development. Scientific courses, individual mentoring, professional immersion throughout our program help our student build their own path, keeping the reality of the corporate world and society in perspective.
All of our Research Units belong to larger regional, national and international research networks: Universities, Institutes and our business partners’ R&D departments. These evolving collaborations contribute to guaranteeing the academic excellence of our students’ education and advancing innovation in our fields of research.
The Global Student Satisfaction Awards empower students across the globe to determine the best universities of 2019. By rating institutions on a scale from 1 to 5, on multiple studies-related questions, we found the top educators in the world.
Learn more about the Global Student Satisfaction AwardsComing to live and study in a foreign country can be a confusing and complicated process, so ISA Lille’s International Relations Office provides many helpful services for our incoming international students. We are available to assist you with administrative procedures before you arrive, during your stay and even after your graduation.
We recommend that students book a room in a Lille Catholic University Residence Hall. These residences are managed by the Association d’Entraide Universitaire (AEU) and are the most convenient way for our students to find housing in Lille.

The program was very practical and I acquired a lot of knowledge and skills in food science. The syllabus was loaded and time consuming. The process of finding internship to validate the degree was difficult. The grading system is based on class score. There is no actual marking scheme and different lecturers give different grades to same/similar works.
The service of the staff is very good
I am now about to start my studies at ISA, but I am very excited for the opportunity to learn and grow.
