WCG is a group of colleges that, combined, make up one of the largest further and higher education colleges in the UK.Each individual college has its own unique identity which means that together we can deliver a broad range of study programmes to help develop the wider skills bases on which our local economies depend.Additionally, our variety of facilities which are open to the public allows us to serve our local communities and give our students more opportunities to be enriched by their college experience.
Research
Incorporating information of pathogen concentration with environmental data provides real potential to accurately predict disease risk. This informed precision approach to disease control should increase crop production and improve resource efficiency. Our Student Services Team are here to guide you through all the support available to you as a WCG student, from financial advice including student loans and funding to on-site accommodation, getting to college, childcare at our Rugby College Nursery, academic learning support, mental health support and more. We also offer free careers advice and guidance at all of our colleges, whether you are already a student with us or are just beginning your course or careers search, to help you make the right choice for your future.
Housing services
We have halls of residence at three of our colleges; Moreton Morrell, Pershore and Royal Leamington Spa and we provide a range of catered and self catered accommodation for students on both further and higher education courses.National Code Assured Accommodation logoWe know how difficult it can be moving away from home, and we want to make it as comfortable as possible. Our accommodation team are on hand to provide advice and guidance throughout the process, and your stay with us. Plus, the warden team will ensure that you feel safe, secure and looked after at all times.
Library services
We have fantastic resources available at the libraries at all of our sites and online. Along with our staff, these will help you to study and achieve your very best.Students automatically become a member of the library when they enrol and they can use any of the libraries. Students can borrow books, journals and DVDs with thousands of titles to choose - and all related to courses at the college.
Sports facilities
You don't have to be a student to get fit at WCG. Our excellent sport and gym facilities are open to the public and students.
Accreditation
WCG (Warwickshire College Group) is a UK higher education provider with its own degree‑awarding powers for Bachelor's and Foundation degrees, regulated by the Office for Students (OfS). While it is not officially a university, its degrees are fully recognized in the UK. WCG has been assessed under the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF), achieving Bronze overall, and holds quality accreditations such as British Council recognition for English teaching. Vocational and further education programs are inspected by Ofsted, reflecting strong institutional standards.
