Memorial University is home to a large number of international student groups, societies, and associations. These groups may be an opportunity for you to network and learn more about the province, our programs, and life as a graduate student at Memorial.
Studying is rough, and the endless hours you need to put on often seem pointless. But, when you finally finish that paper, or do well on that test you realize it was all worth it to get where you want to go
At MUN you really get what you pay for. Facilities aren't great and I was taught by many graduate students as opposed to actual profs.
The MUN campus is not very attractive and is very outdated. The buildings need to be renovated to improve accessibility and comfort. Also, there is a huge 4-lane road directly through the middle of the campus. There's very little green space and the food options are extremely limited. Despite these physical problems, many of the instructors and profs are knowledgeable.
