Library services

The library provides a wide range of services to support learning, teaching and research at the University of Adelaide.  

Medical services

Health care is delivered by both private and government institutions. A publicly-funded health scheme called Medicare, which is run by the Department of Human Services, ensures that all Australians can a specified range of medical services either for free or at a very low cost.

Student Life

Campus life

Adelaide has four main campuses, each with its own distinctive profile. These are North Terrace, Roseworthy, The Waite, and Thebarton. North Terrace is located just north of the CBD in Adelaide, on the outskirts of Elder Park. Flinders University is a public university that was founded in 1966.

Sports facilities

Life at university has more to offer than just study. There is a complete range of recreational activities, opportunities for competitive sport, representative opportunities, and leadership development to enjoy through Adelaide University Sport.

I have been the University of Adelaide for one year. ItÔÇÖs really a great experience in my study life. I enjoyed all of the activities in my uni and lived with some really nice guys. I will recommend my friends coming here and they must be glad with all of these which I experienced as well.

I was on a study abroad from Newcastle University (UK). Loved it! The Uni itself is great, staff and students all very helpful. Extremely laid back compared to the UK- more flexible with deadlines. More assessments in smaller percentages compared to my course in the UK, and from a variety of tasks rather than just essays/exams. The work was more research based, which gives...
