Soon after, they settled for good in Clinton, Iowa where the school at which they had been hired to teach has remained. The Sisters of St. Francis sold the university to Bridgepoint Education, Inc., a higher education organization, and its name was changed to Ashford University.

I love this university and how the work is split up; however, I think I would benefit from an in-person experience rather than how this university is all online. When something is tangible, I find I retain a lot more information.
The online courses were really designed for a D.NP or Doctorate Nurse Practitioner degree. Some of the courses were redundant. The instructors were easily accessible but the required texts were outdated.
The teachers where great, I found the curriculum to be interesting, fun and easy to access. Im thinking of going for my Masters there again.
