Student career coaching plays an important role in the educational concept of Inholland University of Applied Sciences. Students can count on individual guidance and support towards a successful completion of their studies.

Student services

If you wish to take part in an exchange programme with Inholland University of Applied Sciences, please inquire at your own institution (the International Office or Study Coordinator) if such a cooperation exists between your university and Inholland, in your field of study.

Housing services

The Netherlands does not have a tradition of on-campus accomodation. Most students live in or near their university town.

Library services

Inholland Haarlem runs a multimedia library with areas for studying and working together on projects. For the international student, the library offers English language textbooks, support materials, background reading, reference books, international magazines and newspapers, specialist and professional journals, videos, DVDs and CD-ROMs.

ICT services

Inholland has numerous computers and computer rooms on every floor and throughout the building. Each student has a school account with a login ID and email address. With an Inholland school account, students have access to information on courses, exam schedules, timetables, meeting room reservations and more. The schools intranet connect students with staff, project groups, study groups.

Medical services

During your stay in the Netherlands it is compulsory to have good health insurance, and we also strongly advise you to have good third party insurance. Fortunately, there are some exceptions for international students.

Day or night, something is always happening in Amsterdam. The city is full of energy and inspiration during the day with over 800 bars and restaurants where students can drink coffee, chat, study and soak up daily life.It's no huge secret that Amsterdam has a variety of night life choices for students with all different tastes and budgets. The Leidseplein, Rembrandtplein and Dam Square are all considered hubs where students gather to start or finish the night. The Jordaan area tends to be more quiet and romantic, while Nieuwmarkt can be more action packed. Clubs and stages such as Paradiso and Melkweg and the many festivals.

Sports facilities

Students of Inholland Delft can make use of all the sports facilities and participate in all the sports activities of Delft University of Technology for a fixed, reasonable rate. For more information please visit the website of TU Delft Sport Centrum.

Student clubs

Becoming a member of a student association can help you make the most of your student days in Amsterdam and help develop a network of contacts for your future career.Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is an international student organisation whose mission is to encourage mobility in higher education under the principle "Students Helping Students". Besides organising the Mentor System, ESN can give you support before and after your arrival.
