KdG University of Applied Sciences and Arts

The Karel de Grote University of Applied Sciences and Arts officially opened in 1995. Following a decree to improve and unify higher education in Flanders, thirteen catholic high schools in Antwerp merged to form KdG. In 2014-2015, the first English-taught international programme was launched – the forerunner to our current international business management programme.

KdG students are assured of practice-oriented, authentic education. You will feel at home in our school with its dynamic and warm learning environment. Our lecturers will motivate, challenge and guide you through your degree, sharing their enthusiasm and up-to-date knowledge of their field.

KdG offers applied research and consultancy for our external partners because social relevance is one of our cornerstones.

We conduct socially relevant scientific research and publish our results by means of printed media, on study days, in study programmes.

Our centres of expertise carry out applied scientific research within our focus areas.
