The International Business MBA program is designed for those who want to move beyond what is offered in the core MBA courses and to delve deeper into specific global business topics, such as international marketing policy, human resource management, markets, investments, and banking.

Academic Requirements

  • You need the following GMAT score:

    Required score: 500

    The GMAT - or Graduate Management Admission Test - is a frequent requirement for admission at management and business schools across the world. The GMAT score ranges between 200 and 800 and measures the verbal and quantitative reasoning of test-takers.

General Requirements

  • The Graduate Application should be submitted to the Graduate School with a non-refundable application fee of $70 payable to The University of Akron
  • Official transcripts must be submitted to the Graduate School from each college or university attended (except The University of Akron)
  • Upon receipt of the Graduate School application, application fee, and all transcripts the Graduate School will forward these credentials to the appropriate academic department for review
  • Once the Graduate School has received notice from the academic department regarding the recommendation for admission, the Graduate School will notify you of the final results via e-mail
