Overview
Students of the Communication Studies programme offered by the University of Nairobi will be exposed to a broad interdisciplinary perspective on communication science, communication research techniques and information, education and communication (IEC) programme design, management and evaluation.
The programme
Special attention will be given to the mastering of skills necessary for first-rate writing and editing as well as management techniques in communication and mass media organizations in fast changing compositional and technological environments.

General requirements
The following shall be eligible for admission:
- Holders of a Bachelors degree of the University of Nairobi with at least an upper Second Class Honors, or candidates with equivalent qualifications from other institutions recognized by Senate.
- Holders of a Lower Second Class Honors degree or its equivalent with at least one year of post-graduation work experience in journal-ism, communication, and related fields such as public relations, advocacy and advertising.
- Holders of pass degree and post-graduate diploma in mass communication.
