
Overview
Our interdisciplinary curriculum offers students relevant courses in social sciences, humanities, economics and law, alongside intensive German language classes. These prepare them for careers in relevant international, German, Israeli, and European interfaces, including academia, business, tourism, communication, the media, cultural and public administration.

One Year, One Degree
Our one-year program is taught in English over three consecutive semesters from October through September and will include a final exam. Students who prefer to pursue the research track will submit their thesis within one year of completing their coursework, which may require a prolonged stay at the university. Graduates will be awarded a Master of Arts in Modern German and European Studies

General requirements
- A bachelor's degree, with a minimum GPA of 3.0, 80%, or the equivalent from an accredited university.
- Candidates who have not graduated from an academic institution where the language of instruction is English, or who are not native English speakers, must submit official TOEFL scores of at least 570 (in a written test), 230 (in a computerized test), or 89 (in an internet test) to be considered for admission.
- Two letters of recommendation from either academic (i.e. a professor) or professional (i.e. a supervisor) sources.
