- Research and service projects conducted through the research centers and institutes often entail multidisciplinary, cross-campus student input and effort. Each division of the college is involved in on-going projects that advance both scholarly study and professional practice. The college also is home to an interdisciplinary program in historic preservation, which allows graduate students to gain expertise in research and application of historic preservation in the United States and abroad.
