When it comes to transport from point A to B, it is becoming more and more important in our globalised world to recognise and solve strategic and logistical problems.

You learn to master practical challenges and are prepared for a future in the transport and logistics industry. As experts in logistics planning and management, successful IUBH graduates are in high demand as logistics managers, supply chain analysts, traffic planners and operations managers in various areas such as logistics services at federal, local and public transport authorities.

The focus in the 3-semester Transport & Logistics Management programme is on in-depth knowledge of the transport and logistics industry. In the 4-semester version, you deepen your knowledge in the field of general management in addition to gaining technical skills.

Career

The international orientation of your studies and the transport and logistics industry makes you a global player. After graduation, for example, you can work as a Logistic Consultant, Sourcing Manager, Process Manager.

Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).

General Requirements

  • The applicant must have a primary academic degree from a state or state-recognised higher education institution, with at least 210 ECTS, or a foreign degree which does not differ substantially from the qualifications of a domestic primary academic degree. In addition, the applicant for the MTL-90 programme must either have a degree in business administration, economics or engineering.

The living costs include the total expenses per month, covering accommodation, public transportation, utilities (electricity, internet), books and groceries.

Funding

The Deutschlandstipendium (Germany scholarship) supports talented first year students whose CV promises outstanding performances in their study programmes and career. The financial support of 300 euros per month is usually offered for at least two semesters and a maximum of the standard period of study. The state covers 150 euros while an IUBH partner matches that amount and pays the other half.
