As a result of COVID-19, this course is currently being offered via remote (online) study. Please enquire with UOW regarding delivery modes for future sessions.
The Master of Occupational Health and Safety offered by the University of Wollongong has a flexible delivery mode combining online course content with 3-5 days of on-campus block-teaching sessions focused on the exploration and application of the subject material. The on-campus component utilises a range of campus resources, including UOW’s well-resourced OH&S laboratory.
What you will study
In the final stage of the degree, you will apply your knowledge and skills to a research-based capstone workplace project. This will give you a high level of evidence-based professional practice in occupational health and safety, and allow application of those principles to a practical project.
The Master of Work Health and Safety has been accredited by the Australian Occupational Health & Safety Educators Accreditation Board (AOHSEAB) and the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) of the UK.
