About

A master's degree in international economics is an increasingly essential degree in the global economy.

Through the study of the diverse forces that are shaping the global economy and its institutions, the M.A. Program in International Economics at Warsaw University equips its graduates to function effectively in a rapidly changing world. The Program is the most rigorous in the country and the Department of Economics at Warsaw University ranks number one in Poland.

    The IELTS – or the International English Language Test System – tests your English-language abilities (writing, listening, speaking, and reading) on a scale of 1.00–9.00.     The TOEFL – or Test OF English as a Foreign Language – offers a paper-based test (PBT). The final, overall PBT score ranges between 310 and 677, and is based on an average taken from the three test components (listening, structure, and reading).   • Minimum required score:

    100

    The TOEFL – or Test Of English as a Foreign Language – offers an internet-based test (iBT). The final, overall iBT score ranges between 0 and 120, and includes a scaled average from the four components (reading, listening, speaking, and writing). Read more about TOEFL (iBT).

Academic Requirements

Application requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree or a notarised / apostillized* copy of it. NB: Candidates who are expected to graduate after the application date are asked to provide a certificate issued by their home university stating their presumable application date / confirming their graduation and stating the presumable date of degree issuance.
  • Official transcript(s) of records for the relevant undergraduate cycle. Transcript should be accompanied by an official grade conversion table or explanation of the grading system.
