If you are interested in developing new technologies and creating innovative applications, MAIS will be ideal for you. Infocomm industry has been a key contributor to economic development and the driving force behind the fast growing knowledge-based economy in Singapore. Infocomm technologies are the foundation for many applications in industry, government and other institutions. Singapore needs to have an infocomm-savvy workforce and globally competitive infocomm manpower to sustain national economic competitiveness.

This programme is distinctive in its emphasis on industrial strength projects as an essential component of the curriculum. You will not only acquire knowledge in the classroom but also be expected to confidently and innovatively apply what you have learned.

Academic Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, preferably
  • in computer science, information systems, information technology,
  • engineering, science, statistics or applied mathematics.
  • Good GRE or GMAT results.
  • Waived for SMU, NTU, NUS and SUTD graduates.
  • Good TOEFL or IELTS scores.
For applicants whose medium of instruction at the Bachelor’s/ Master’s level was not English.

The living costs include the total expenses per month, covering accommodation, public transportation, utilities (electricity, internet), books and groceries.

Funding

Merit Award

Merit Award of up to SGD $5,000 may be granted to applicants on competitive basis upon admission offer. Recipients are required to maintain good academic standing throughout the course of study. The merit award will be used to offset the tuition fees in equal instalments.

Capstone Project Scholarship

All MAIS students who are working on industry-sponsored capstone projects are eligible to apply for Capstone Project Scholarship of up to SG$5,000 sponsored by our industry sponsors (e.g., DHL, Standard Chartered Bank).
