Whether working in the philanthropy and not-for-profit sector in managerial roles, the private sector in corporate social responsibility, or government in a policy-making capacity, the Master of Social Impact (MSI) at Swinburne University of Technology provides the core capabilities required to lead people effectively in a rapidly changing social economy and business environment. The foundation units address social investment and philanthropy, social entrepreneurship and innovation, creativity and design, and corporate responsibility and accountability. Career opportunities
Graduates will be expected to have the technical skills and wider community perspectives in grant-making, fund-raising, program design and corporate social investment that will enhance their skills as donors and/or equip them to work in the corporate, professional, public and community sectors.
Graduates may seek employment as managers, trustees, advisers, investors, fundraisers and social entrepreneurs across NGOs, government, businesses and corporations, nonprofit, philanthropic and related private sector agencies that provide and manage grants and/or raise funds.
