Overview

This Urban Design program from The University of Western Australia is suitable for professional practitioners and graduates of related fields seeking to broaden their knowledge, as well as those in other fields seeking an introduction to urban design.

You can take the Graduate Certificate in Urban Design on its own or it can provide you with a stepping stone to the Graduate Diploma in Urban Design or the Master of Urban Design. The course is delivered by the Australian Urban Design Research Centre.

To be considered for admission to this course an applicant must have—

  • a Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent qualification, as recognised by UWA; and
  • the equivalent of a UWA weighted average mark of at least 50 per cent; and
  • successfully completed prior study in a field relevant to Urban Design; or
  • Significant work experience including at least 5 years with a material level of responsibility.
