Overview
By the end of the Clinical Internships in Oral Implants course, students from UIC Barcelona will be able to draft and carry out treatment plans for patients who require dental implants with skill and confidence.
Learning outcomes
This year-long academic programme provides students with both theoretical and practical knowledge. The theory side will mainly be taught through literature reviews and presentations on clinical cases.
The dental industry will have significant involvement with students during the programme, which means students will have the chance to see implants from leading commercial brands. The most important part of the clinical residency is applying the theory in the university clinic, and students will have the chance to plan and provide a comprehensive treatment plan to patients.
