The Environmental Health Sciences - Public Health degree program at University of Michigan is a broad-based multidisciplinary educational experience that develops scientific, technological, policy and managements skills needed to address contemporary environmental and public health issues. Emphasis is placed on exposure assessment, worker safety and human health risk assessments.

Our residential graduate degree programs include a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.), a Master of Science (M.S.), and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) offered in four fields of study (Environmental Quality and Health, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational and Environmental Epidemiology and Toxicology.

Master of Environmental Health Sciences - Public Health

Our M.P.H. program at University of Michigan is aimed primarily at graduates in the natural and applied sciences who expect to go on to careers as practitioners and leaders in one or more of the fields of applied environmental and/or occupational health. The M.P.H. is offered in the following areas:
