Overview

This Business Process Control and Supply Chain Management - Frontiers in Management Accounting & Process-based Control programme from Linnaeus University combines logistics and management accounting, which is unique. There is a great need for graduates who understands value creation with the end consumer in focus through cooperation and integration within the organization as well as with other companies. One theme in the programme is supply chains, which creates efficiency with good supplier cooperation. Another is the use of management accounting to develop processes within and between companies. 

The first semester contains thus of a specialisation in either supply chain management or controlling. This follows by studies on integration of supply chains and interorganizational control, research methodology and e-business management and the programme ends with a master thesis. After graduating you can for ex work as Supply Planner, Business Controller, Management Consultant, Business Development Planner, After Sales Logistics Planner or pursue a research career. Language is English and with students from all over the world.

Career

After graduation you can work both nationally and internationally within a broad area. On today’s labour market, there is demand for business graduates that can integrate with other companies and work for the end customer with an offensive and business-oriented approach. The programme prepares both for a professional career related to the management and control of business processes in supply chains, as well as an academic career. Some relevant job titles of alumni students and in the business life are Business Process Developer, Business Development Planner, Business controller, and Management Consultant.
