The International Business Law programme is offered by University of Groningen.

Globalization and regional integration make a good knowledge of international business  law indispensable within the international corporate world. In this programme, y ou can specialize in all legal aspects of international (economic)  interaction, including:

  • Private and / or public international law aspects 
  • Comparative and European law aspects

This can be done at both levels of private transactions and intergovernmental cooperation.

Job prospects

The programme is designed to equip its graduates for a legal career within internationally operating enterprises, law firms, and/or governmental and intergovernmental institutions.

Students will have to participate in six compulsory courses and the compulsory seminar for this programme. Like all masters, this programme is also concluded by writing a Master's thesis, worth 18 ECTS.

    C1 Advanced is a Cambridge English Qualification. It reports on the Cambridge English Scale between 142 and 210. You will receive a separate score for each of the four skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) and for Use of English. These five scores are averaged to give you an overall result for the exam. Universities and colleges may ask you to achieve a specific score, either overall or for a particular skill.

    Note: degree programmes and applications may require a more specific minimum score for admission.
