Programme Structure

The course has two curricula, Economics and Banking and Finance. 

  • The first provides the students with rigorous and state of the art training in applied economics, economic theory and econometrics. 
  • The second focuses on Banking and Finance with an original perspective, stressing economic reasoning, analysis of financial institutions, regulatory design, and computer applications. 
  • Both tracks share a common base of core courses providing advanced analytical tools in the field of economics, econometrics and business finance.

General Requirements

Candidates wishing to enroll in the Master's degree in Economics and Finance are expected to hold a degree or a three-year Italian Diploma Universitario or other qualification earned in Italy or abroad recognized by the current legislation.

Candidates must have minimum credits in specific areas of study:

  • 12 ECTS: Accounting and/or Management
  • 16 ECTS in Economics
  • 22 ECTS in Mathematics, and/or Statistics and/or Econometrics

Students must demonstrate competence in the following disciplines: Microeconomics and Macroeconomics, Mathematics for Economics, Statistics and Economic Statistics, Business Administration, Theory of finance and Corporate finance, financial brokerage Economics.

Technological Requirements

Candidates are expected to have a good command over English language and the ability to use the main IT tools.
