Information systems form the basis of the design, improvement and maintenance of business processes. They have grown into the largest and most complex technical products and form a highly integrated part of the operational processes within companies. The Business Information Systems programme is delivered by Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e).

About

An organization's information system is an essential component and if the system does not function as it should, it brings all other processes to a standstill. Whether multinationals, banks, insurance companies, government ministries, hospitals, travel companies or online shops, none of these can operate without a perfectly functioning information system.

The integration of IT systems in business processes requires experts who possess knowledge of both computer science and business administration. The Master's program in Business Information Systems from Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) trains those experts.

You've graduated. What next?

As a graduate in Business Information Systems, you are trained in the design of information systems from a business viewpoint. Your scientific perspective combined with a practically-oriented approach forms an excellent starting point for a successful career.

You can handle heavily computer science-based business processes. You can develop information systems and set up automated business processes in both large and smaller organizations. Or you are ready to begin work as a developer, architect or information manager.

Accreditation

This program is legally recognized and accredited by the Accreditation Organization of the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO).
