 Offered in collaboration between ACI and the Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University, the Master of Science (Marketing & Consumer Insight) programme is designed for ambitious and committed individuals exploring career opportunities in marketing and consumer insight, or working closely with marketers in their management roles.


Intensive and academically challenging, the programme offered by Nanyang Technological University  focuses on developing the skills required to analyse, evaluate and appreciate the unique needs of Asian consumers. With an analytical, quantitative and qualitative understanding of Asian consumers, graduates of the programme will empower companies with the competitive edge in product innovation, design, branding and communications.

The one-year, part-time Master in Marketing & Consumer Insight programme offers:

Academic requirements

GMAT admission requirements GMAT The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a test intended to assess certain analytical, writing, quantitative, verbal, and reading skills in written English for use in admission to a graduate management program, such as an MBA. GMAT contains 4 sections - Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative and Verbal. The score has a range from 200 - 800.

English requirements

TOEFL admission requirements TOEFL® IBT The TOEFL iBT® is given online through the internet at designated testing site. The test measures your English-language abilities in an academic setting. The score refers to the total score of 4 subjects (writing, listening, speaking, and reading), each subject has a range of 0 - 30.
IELTS admission requirements IELTS The International English Language Test System (IELTS) tests your English-language proficiency on a scale of 1 – 9. The score refers to the combined average score of 4 subjects (writing, listening, speaking, and reading).

General requirements

Applicants should possess:

  • a strong Bachelor's degree, or equivalent
  • minimum of two years' or more of full-time work experience
  • a GMAT score. This may be waived if the applicant has more than 5 years of work experience.
  • proficiency in English
  • IELTS or TOEFL is required if your undergraduate studies was not conducted in English. The minimum acceptable scores are as follows: 6.5 for IELTS; for TOEFL, 600 for paper-based tests, 250 for computer-based tests, 100 for internet-based tests.
