Overview
Education
Its unique balance of rigorous fundamentals and real-world applications equips you with the skills needed to integrate and synthesise theory and new knowledge in professional practice.
This program is ideal for fresh graduates to continue their studies as well as for engineers with a few years’ work experience looking to step into a role with greater responsibilities and/or knowledge. It provides depth in fundamental mechanical engineering areas and breadth in emerging cross-boundary areas.
The success of this MSc (Mechanical Engineering) course can be measured by the large proportion of its graduates who are in challenging posts in industries at home and abroad.
Through coursework and an optional project, you will learn how to apply the relevant skills to solve complex problems in industry, such as robotics, healthcare, energy, precision engineering and transportation. The programme offers a comprehensive coverage of topics in manufacturing, materials, control, applied mechanics, fluid mechanics, and thermal science that are of great relevance to industry.
You would be able to select MSc (ME) with two areas of specialisation: Computation and Modelling, and Advanced Manufacturing. The Mechanical Engineering programme is offered by the National University of Singapore.
