The Marketing MSc takes you on a developmental journey to give you precisely the kind of skills and knowledge needed to become an effective (and reflective) marketing practitioner.
You’ll gain in-depth understanding of markets and how they work, and will be introduced to many theories, tools and techniques that firms can use to connect with and shape those markets. You’ll also learn what firms can do to uncover new and emerging consumer practices that may offer potential for creating new markets.
The emphasis throughout is on the relationship between theory and practice, and you’ll constantly be challenged to reflect on how the ideas you encounter translate to real-world settings.

We know that undertaking Masters study can be a significant financial commitment and we are therefore making available significant scholarship funds for applicants who have been offered a place on the programme and who meet our scholarship criteria. These generous scholarships are provided for self-funded and part-funded applicants. The scholarship amounts vary and typically range from £1,000 to £4,000, but can be up to 50% of the fees. How do I apply?
You will automatically be considered for these scholarships when we review your application and while funds are available. Because we allocate scholarships on a rolling basis, it is therefore wise to make your application for the programme as early in the year as you can.
There is no need to complete any additional paperwork. However, you may be invited to participate in a short telephone interview as part of the selection process or asked to supply further supporting information. If we shortlist you for a scholarship, we will let you know what we need from you and the process involved.
If you are awarded a scholarship, you may be asked to act as a student ambassador or representative for the programme.
